15 million people live in the entire Delaware River basin in NY, PA, NJ, and DE. Saltwater contamination will affect several million in coastal DE, New Jersey, and the Philly area, but the report isn’t talking about direct impacts on the water supply for 15 million Americans.

From what I see daily, most people don’t give a rats ass about what happens down the road, they just think of their personal selfish pleasures “NOW” leaving a mess for the voiceless, children, wildlife and all waterways, they don’t even look for post such as these, blind eyes, deaf ears, to busy on phones, to see what is beneath their feet.
The cry of mother nature is very loud and the tears of the voiceless are everywhere, most people are a waste of skin taking up space and leaving behind or walking past, dangers to our children, wildlife and waterways, lazy inconsiderate humans, I can see why our end is ever so close, we get what we give, whats nothing from nothing! One random act of kindness at a time, has it’s rewards, NOW is the only time there is Carpe-Diem, “JUST DO IT” Clean a beach, park, lake, river, stream, creek, storm drain, your neighborhood, be part of the solution, not the pollution, earn your keep on this priceless earth, give back, count your blessings and give back.

Even just sluicing, I pick up a boat-load of lead & amalgamated gold flakes in my box. The same thing when I dredged, only much more. I take it all home with me. There is just no sense in such a bogus bill as 670!

The gates of all this stimulus money are wide open to ???? I think they have sufficient funding to complete their study. This bill reeks of corruption!

Would love to see temperature data, both historical and current, for all of the lakes included in the posting, especially lake Michigan because i was “swimming” in the lake around the Chicago area last Sunday in 90 degree weather and the lake was so cold that I refused to go in above my thighs!

While Lake Superior may be warmer, Lake Michigan, at least by Chicago, has not been particularly warm. The water temperature was 74 after an incredibly hot summer. That is not warmer than normal.
